Note that some dates, especially for rolling or ongoing competitions, can be a little arbitrary.

Authorised users: by default a new event is public. To hide it, i.e. only chaps like you will see
it, click the Private button. This will protect any addresses and so on that people might enter. Be sure that you’re
not exposing these sort of personal details, especially other peoples’.
